Photographic prints

Would you like to acquire an original modern print of a photograph by Robert Doisneau?

Choose from the photos in the editions or on the portfolios page of the site. Contact the Gamma Rapho agency which sells, under the supervision of the Atelier Robert Doisneau, inkjet prints on baryta paper in 24x30 cm format - unsigned, unnumbered, with authenticity stamp on the back.
€400 incl. VAT (including shipping costs for Metropolitan France only).

Please contact Claude Bernard’s Gallery to buy one of these collector’s items. The only prints for sale under control of the Atelier Robert Doisneau are the prints that Robert himself dedicated to collectors.
Signed prints, usually 30x40, a few 40x50 or 50x60 and very seldom vintage prints.

The Atelier Robert Doisneau, the only authorized organisation for issuing certificates of authenticity, will appraise your prints for free.
To apply, please contact us and send a scan, the photo itself or a duplex copy of it to.

Numerous Robert Doisneau’s prints are for sale on the internet. They mostly are simple press agency prints intended for illustration. They have no art collection value.

These prints, that usually have not been returned to the agencies who had lent them, should not be for sale since they are just stolen (as the explicit rubber stamp prints on the back sides stipulate).

We point this out to warn you about swindles and fraudulent schemes to sell these non-collectible prints.

Exhibitions

If you would like to host an existing exhibition, you will find the list of 26 exhibitions currently available for rent on the French version of the site.

We shall send you the index and the price list of the exhibitions that are available for renting.

We are also at your disposal to create a tailor-made exhibition.
Attention! A minimum period of one year is to be expected to study together the creation of a new exhibition.

The Atelier Robert Doisneau

The Atelier Robert Doisneau is the structure responsible for the conservation and promotion of Robert Doisneau’s work.
Founded by the photographer’s two daughters, the Atelier is located in Montrouge, a nearby suburb of Paris, in the flat where Robert Doisneau himself had been working for more than fifty years.

The Atelier Robert Doisneau is an office and therefore cannot welcome visitors.
There is no permanent venue dedicated to Robert Doisneau in Paris but exhibitions of his works are numerous and you will find all current and upcoming exhibitions in the French version of this website.

We cannot send you teaching materials such as books, prints, posters or postcards. But we can answer your questions by mail if you use our contact form.
